We love our Steel City Pops kids! In the process of creating our menu we intentionally keep in mind that we have some friends on the younger side who have discriminating tastes. In this post, we want to highlight some of our pops we think are particularly kid friendly.
Passion fruit is one of our most refreshing pops. This pop has a tropical sweet tart flavor with nuances of pineapple, papaya, mango, citrus and guava. If your Steel City Pop kid has a spirit of adventure give this pop a try. We think they’ll love it!
Got a kid with a discriminating palate? This is the all-time kid favorite at Steel City Pops. The perfect blend of strawberry and lemon this pop is our biggest seller. This pops is the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We haven’t met a kid who didn’t like it!
Cookies and Cream
This cookie pop is always a crowd pleaser, especially among our younger fans. We take house-made, gluten-free dark chocolate cookies and crumble them up in our sweet and creamy vanilla bean pop. We take dipping your cookies in milk to a whole new level with this combination. It’s a winner with all ages!
Dairy Free Avocado, Banana, and Chocolate
Many of our younger customers are dairy intolerant and aren’t usually able to choose from the creamy side of our menu. This spring we are excited to have 3 dairy-free options on our menu.
- Avocado – Avocado has been on our menu awhile and is a surprising kid favorite! Made with avocados, organic cane sugar and lemon, this pop is creamy but light and refreshing without the diary. Some have described it as a “key lime pie” flavor.
- Banana – New to our menu, our banana pop is made with bananas, coconut milk, coconut oil, and avocado with a hint of cinnamon. You’d never know the coconut and avocado are in there! The flavor is sweet and creamy banana with a touch of cinnamon. Your little one will love it!
- Chocolate – this new non-dairy pop is made with chocolate, avocado, coconut milk, and organic dark chocolate. The texture is smooth and creamy tastes like dark chocolate fudge. It’s a true kid pleaser.
